Biography
facts :
1909 - born on 21 March in Straldja,
Jambol region
1933 - studied in Academy of Art ,
attached to prof. N. Rainov, prof. S. Velkov and prof. A. Nikolov
1938 - ends with excellent marks painting
in the Academy of Art under prof. N. Marinov. He was a winner in the class
and earned first award.
1939 - became member of Bulgarian
Artist Union
1942 - opened independent exhibition
in Sofia
1944 - exhibition in Straldja and
Karnobat
1945 - independent exhibition in Sofia
1950 -nominated with decree for vice-chancellor
and reader in the Academy of Art
1951 - led first bulgarian artist
delegation in USSR
1953 - 1962 - chancellor of the Academy
of Art
1957 - member of hanging-committee
" Youth Festival " in Moscow
1959 - elected to professor in the
Academy of Art
1964 - 1976 - dean at the faculty
of refinement art in the Academy of Art
1977 - retire on a pension
1986 - die in sofia
Long standing member in Bulgarian
Artist's Union governing body .

in Bourgas, Shumen, Karnobat, Vratsa, Pleven, Vidin, Plovdiv, Smolian,
Pernik, Straldja, Jambol, Elhovo, etc.; in art galleries and private
collections in foreign countries : Russia, Germany, England, Italy,
Poland, Greece, Romania, USA, Japan, Sweden, etc.
Earns a lot of competitions, medals
and awards.
